Enquanto espera ansiosamente pelos resultados de um exame médico, Cléo, uma cantora, deambula pelas ruas de Paris. No caminho, encontra-se com o seu amante, o seu compositor, a sua amiga Dorotheé e com um soldado prestes a ser destacado. 

‘Cléo de 5 à 7 - Duas Horas na Vida de Uma Mulher’ (1962) é uma comédia dramática da realizadora belga Agnès Varda (1928-2019), autora ‘Les Plages d’Agnès - As Praias de Agnès’ (2008), ‘Les Glaneurs et la Glaneuse - Os Respigadores e a Respigadora’ (2000) e ‘Visages Villages - Olhares Lugares’ (2017).
