'O Labirinto do Fauno', de Guillermo del Toro, vence ‘Grande Prémio’

O filme 'El Laberinto del Fauno - O Labirinto do Fauno', do realizador mexicano Guillermo del Toro, ganhou o 'Grande Prémio' do 27º Fantasporto. É a segunda vez que Guillermo del Toro vence o Fantasporto, o que aconteceu também em 1994, com o seu primeiro filme, 'Cronos'. 'O Labirinto do Fauno', já em exibição nas salas de cinema nacionais, conta a história da inocência cujo poder o mal não imagina.O Festival Internacional de Cinema do Porto, considerado em 2005 e 2006 pela revista norte-americana 'Variety' como um dos 20 festivais de cinema mais importantes a nível mundial. A Secção Oficial Competitiva do festival contou com 21 longas-metragens a concurso sob a temática do imaginário, fantástico e ficção científica.

O 'Fantasporto 2007' fica marcado por um novo assalto aos prémios dos filmes asiáticos. 'Isabella' de Ho Cheung Pang ganhou dois, Prémio ao Melhor Filme Orient Express e o de Melhor Actriz da Semana dos Realizadores, 'The Host' de Bong Joon-Ho arrecadou o Prémio de Melhor Realização da Secção Oficial Cinema Fantástico e 'Time', do BRILHANTE Kim Ki Duk ficou com o Prémio Melhor Actor da Semana dos Realizadores.
