A lista de finalistas do Booker Prize 2012 acaba de ser anunciada em Londres pelo júri do mais prestigiado prémio literário inglês das nações da Commonwealth. As seis obras de ficção finalistas desta 43ª edição foram seleccionadas, de uma lista de 12 candidatos, por um júri presidido por Peter Stothard editor do ‘TLS - The Times Literary Supplement’.
O vencedor do prémio, patrocinado pelo grupo Man, será anunciado em Outubro. O autor receberá 50 mil libras, reconhecimento internacional e o habitual incremento de vendas do livro em todo o mundo.
