A lista de finalistas do 'Booker Prize 2009' acaba de ser anunciada em Londres pelo júri do mais prestigiado prémio literário inglês das nações da Commonwealth. As seis obras de ficção finalistas desta 41ª edição foram seleccionadas, de uma lista de 13 candidatos, por um júri presidido pelo jornalista e escritor inglês James Naughtie.
O vencedor do prémio, patrocinado pelo grupo Man, será anunciado no início de Outubro. O autor receberá 50 mil libras, reconhecimento internacional e o habitual incremento de vendas do livro em todo o mundo.
