A lista de finalistas do ‘Booker Prize 2006’ acaba de ser anunciada em Londres pelo júri do mais prestigiado prémio literário inglês. As seis obras de ficção finalistas desta 38ª edição foram seleccionadas, de uma lista de 19 candidatos, por um júri presidido pelo biógrafo, académico e crítico Hermione Lee. O vencedor do prémio, patrocinado pelo grupo Man, será anunciado no início de Outubro. O autor receberá 50 mil libras, reconhecimento internacional e o habitual incremento de vendas do livro em todo o mundo.
