Finais do séc. XIX. Thomas Wake, responsável pelo farol de uma ilha isolada, contrata o jovem Ephraim Winslow para substituir o ajudante anterior. No entanto, o acesso ao farol é mantido fechado ao novato, que se torna cada vez mais curioso.
‘The Lighthouse - O Farol’ é um drama do realizador norte-americano Robert Eggers, de 36 anos, autor de ‘The Witch - A Bruxa’ (2015).
