O tempo afastou as irmãs Justine e Claire. Nem o casamento entre Justine e Michael serve como desculpa para aproximá-las e, depois da cerimónia, Justine começa a ficar triste. Um drama do realizador dinamarquês Lars von Trier, de 55 anos, autor de ‘Europa’ (1991), ‘Breaking the Waves - Ondas de Paixão’ (1996), ‘Idiotern - Os Idiotas’ (1998), ‘Dancer in the Dark’ (2000), ‘Dogville’ (2003) e ‘Direktoren for Det Hele’ (2006). Na apresentação de ‘Melancholia’ no Festival de Cannes, Lars von Trier revelou que era nazi e simpatizante de Hitler, acabando mais tarde por pedir desculpa.
